Our Client is a world-class manufacturer of refractory specialty products, leading in molten metal flow engineering and providing comprehensive engineering services to the steel and foundry industries. The company operates globally in 38 countries with 50 nationalities. The Canadian division, based in Welland, Ontario, has been in operation since 1965. We are seeking a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator for the Welland manufacturing facility. This is a temporary 6-month contract position.

Brief Description

This role involves coordinating and processing all shipping and receiving documentation to support inbound raw materials, resale finished goods, and outbound shipments.

Responsibilities:
  • Process receipts of incoming goods accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with purchasing documents.
  • Handle shipping documentation promptly to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Record all transactions for inventory control in the JDE system.
  • Maintain accurate lot location records for inventory management.
  • Verify inventory levels and prepare load sheets for outbound products.
  • Monitor shipping schedules in JDE, schedule outbound trucks, and generate necessary shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Customs documentation).
  • Inspect and verify received goods.
  • Keep the warehouse organized and direct LTOs daily.
Job Requirements
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Customs and TDG regulations is an asset.
