Position:

Shipping & Receiving Clerk

The Role

Prairie Mobile Communications is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage outgoing shipments and incoming items efficiently. The role involves processing paperwork, maintaining records, preparing shipments, auditing goods, managing inventory, and handling customer returns. The ideal candidate works well independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on accuracy and organization. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2-3 years' experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or warehouse management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Experience with Ormandy is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Knowledge of filling out waybills, bills of lading, and international shipments
  • Ability to weigh and measure items
  • Knowledge of safe packing methods
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods and WHMIS certification is an asset
