Certified Group provides laboratory testing and regulatory consulting services in the food & beverage, dietary supplements & NHP, cosmetics, OTC, tobacco, nicotine, cannabis, hemp, and other industries.

As a result of our continuing growth, Labstat has the following employment opportunity available:

We are currently looking for a Shipping Receiver to join our team and support the Facilities Department.

Reporting to the Facility Coordinator, the Receiver is responsible for receiving all inventory and non-inventory items, proper labeling and storage, and distribution of non-inventory items.

The Receiver also monitors inventory levels of gas cylinders and specialty gases for NOx and CO, and requisitions replacements weekly.

Shipping duties include overseeing hazardous waste pick-up.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Receiving items, data entry, and preparing paperwork for accounting
  2. Labeling and storing inventory, distributing non-inventory items
  3. Delivering samples to the Product Preparation area and entering data into LIMS
  4. Overseeing hazardous waste pick-up
  5. Preparing shipping documents for outgoing shipments
  6. Monitoring inventory levels and requisitioning gas cylinders, DI tanks, and water softener salt
  7. Maintaining sanitation and safety in the laboratory
  8. Performing minor maintenance and assisting other facilities staff
  9. Disposing of waste and recyclables (non-chemical)
  10. Maintaining parking lot cleanliness and de-icing walkways
  11. Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Experience in shipping/receiving is an asset
  • Experience preparing shipping documents, including international shipments, is an asset
