About The Opportunity
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Packager to join our team at our Ontario-based manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring products are accurately packaged, labeled, and shipped to meet customer and production timelines. Location: Orillia, Ontario
This is an Onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for packaging all items per PWC specifications prior to issuing parts to the Finished Good Stores.
- Moving items from the hold released area to the packaging area.
- Verify from Kit form, items are not part of a kit.
- Use protective packaging to avoid damage in Finished Good Stores.
- Parts, other than Kit, must be packaged per PWC packaging requirements prior to forwarding to FGS.
- Keep Packaging/Stores area clean of debris and organized.
- Assign bin locations for all parts and traceability.
- Ensure that the FIFO (first in first out) system is in place when pulling sales orders.
- Ensure the transaction and inventory movement is entered into Syteline.
- Create work orders for kits that are on the pull system, based on the visual levels indicated.
- Update cardboard inventory to always ensure adequate supplies.
- Clean empty racks ready for production requirements from Quality Department.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
- Provide suggestion to increase effectiveness of both position and individual.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Employees are expected to work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment, reporting any missing or defective safety equipment, and notifying a supervisor of any hazards or potential violations to help maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, or shipping/receiving environment preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed packaging instructions and verify parts against documentation.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Comfortable using hand tools and packaging equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter data into inventory systems.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience.
- Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process optimization tools to drive efficiency and readiness.
- WHMIS or other workplace safety training certifications.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring you to pivot and adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate with team members, supervisors, and delivery personnel to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Material handling equipment experience.
- Experience assigning bin locations and managing part traceability.
- Ability to contribute ideas for process or efficiency improvements.
Physical Requirements- Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer.
