Job summary

Conestoga Meats in Cambridge, Ontario, is seeking a full-time Distribution Centre Shipper to support operations at our Breslau/Cambridge sites. Responsibilities include operating a tow motor, using RF scanners, picking orders, stacking pallets, and loading/unloading for daily shipments.

Qualified candidates will hold tow motor certification, be able to work flexible hours and locations, have reliable transportation to both sites, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Tow motor certification required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and locations (Breslau and Cambridge).
• Must have transportation to both locations.
• Product knowledge is an asset.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Daily use of tow motor
• Use of RF scanners to allocate products to orders
• Select/pick orders
• Arrange/stack boxes on pallet for stability
• Complete required paperwork after each order
• Load orders into trucks
• Unload incoming product from Breslau
• Monitor food safety (temperatures, damaged boxes)
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description

• Arrange/stack ordered boxes on pallet ensuring proper stability and presentation
• Completion of required paperwork after each completed order
• Load orders into trucks
• Unload incoming product from Breslau
• Monitor for food safety concerns (temperatures, damaged boxes/combos, incorrect product)
  • Obey all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
