Greenfield is looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the QA Manager, the Shipper/Receiver performs all activities required to load, unload and ship alcohol on time and within specification and helps ensure alcohol products are manufactured according to the specifications and in an efficient, safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Your Experience Should Include:
- Completion of a related technical post-secondary diploma / degree.
Bonus Points if you Have Any of These:
- Experience in a continuous operation facility is an asset.
- Previous shipping experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operates all equipment necessary for the loading and unloading of alcohol into tankers.
- Reports deviations, non-conformances, corrective actions and preventive actions.
- Makes necessary adjustments to maintain equipment and operations within specified ranges.
- Performs preventative maintenance checks within the shipping area
- Probes and grades incoming corn loads and approves for offloading
- Assists in problem solving for QA department
- Performs start-up, shutdown and other procedures involving alcohol loading equipment.
- Receives and / or oversees receipt of supplies such as yeast, enzymes, acid, etc., in a safe effective manner and processing the paperwork correctly.
- Unloads denaturants and other chemical deliveries as required.
- Directs truck drivers to position vehicles for efficient loading and unloading.
- Performs alcohol transfer operations and monitors levels in tank farm to prevent combination or overflow.
- Maintains shipping and receiving area and participates in cleanup activities (ie. Snow removal, salting/sanding, grass cutting, etc.)
- Samples all incoming and outgoing alcohols and denaturants and gives to lab for testing.
- Oversees the Citric Blending and inventory
- Participates in Customer and Supplier audits
- Participates in at least one Tiverton committee
- Licensed/certified in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods, fork lift operator, confined space rescue, fall arrest.
- Adheres to and participates in the plants and company’s Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety and FSSC 22000 ISO systems.
- Participates in plant compliance in GMPs, FSMA, FSSC 22000, FEMAS, and other food and feed safety initiatives and standards.
