Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings in Calgary, Alberta seeks a reliable Shipper/Receiver to join the Shipping Team. The role involves loading and unloading materials and deliveries, moving items to and from storage, and selecting materials within the warehouse to fulfill orders on time.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, processing shipping documents, and maintaining accurate inventory. Candidates should have forklift certification, a valid Alberta driver’s license, basic math and computer

Qualifications

• Experience as a Shipping Loader Operator or equivalent is preferred.
• Must have valid Alberta Driver’s License and forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and read/communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules.
• Process all relevant Shipping documentation and fulfill customer orders on time.
• Load and unload materials and deliveries, and move them to/from storage areas.
• Select and pick materials within the warehouse.
• Gain understanding of various Pipe and Electrical Fittings SKUs for yard/warehouse locations.
