Responsibilities

  • Operate stackers and pallet jacks as required.
  • Work in accordance with company policies, departmental procedures, GMP’s and health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure proper storage and stock rotations using F. E F.O. keeping like sku’s together inside the freezer, warehouse, and cooler.
  • Assist in preparing for and undertaking physical inventory counts.
  • Ensure production maintains an uninterrupted supply of materials at all times.
  • Accurate assembling and picking of orders for shipping.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers.
  • Verify actual count and condition of product shipped and received.
  • Responsible for requisitions of materials from the warehouse, cooler and freezer.
  • Maintain water levels on the batteries of pallet equipment.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Ensure work area is cleaned at end of the shift.
  • Any property or product damages must be reported immediately to the Supervisor.
  • Bring quality and safety concerns to Supervisor as required.
  • Assist in audit preparations and BRC compliance.
  • Ensure accurate picking and delivery of material to production floor.
  • Ensure all trailer locks are engaged when loading and unloading trailers.
  • Participate and maintain cleaning standards on master sanitation schedule.
  • Responsible for informing Supervisor and Maintenance of any equipment malfunctions inside the freezer / warehouse / cooler.
  • Complete required dept. and Alchemy training.
  • Perform usual warehouse related SAP system duties.
  • Record temperature for freezer, warehouse, & cooler on each shift and immediately communicate any deviations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong in basic math.
  • Understanding of warehouse fundamentals.
  • Competent in the safe use of electric pallet equipment.
  • Able to organize tasks quickly.
  • Good oral and written communication.
  • Minimum Grade 12 education with good oral and written English skills
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends and nights.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Understands the basics in inventory controls.
  • Proven good attendance record.
  • Minimum 1 years practical experience on electric reach stackers and pallet jacks.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Preferred

  • Knowledge on how to utilize SAP program and RF guns.
  • Able to understand the scheduling process, quality training, safety policies / procedures.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Capable of working in below freezing temperatures for extended period of time.
  • Standing, walking, sitting for lengthy periods of time.
  • Rotating shift work.
