SUMMARY

We are seeking enthusiastic Shipper / Receiver to join the Shipping Team. This position will be responsible to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas. This is a temporary seasonal position, from June 1st, 2025 to approximately end of summer 2025 with possible extension.

We are also seeking applicants who understand that employees make key contributions to developing a pro-safe work environment.

BENEFITS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Follow all safety rules.
  • Ability to process all relevant Shipping documentation and to fulfill customers orders according to timelines/deadlines provided.
  • Gain a good understanding of various Pipe and Electrical Fittings SKU’s with regard to the yard/warehouse locations.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as a Shipping Loader Operator, or equivalent, and has
demonstrated a good working knowledge of safe and efficient truck-loading
procedures is an asset.

  • Basic knowledge of computers skills.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 Ibs
  • Demonstrated a good working knowledge of safe and efficient truck-loading procedures is an asset.
  • Must have the ability to work staggered shift schedule.
  • Must be able to read and communicate fluently in English language.
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Maintain a valid Alberta Driver’s License and appropriate forklift certification.
  • Must have strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
