Shipper Receiver - Rocky View County, AB

POSITION OVERVIEW
The shipper receiver will enhance operational efficiency and company profitability by accurately and promptly processing incoming and outgoing shipments. The role involves clearly identifying and labeling all products related to shipments.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Receiving
    • Receive returns, verify quantities, assess condition, and complete documentation.
    • Inspect inbound products following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Organize and store products appropriately based on SOPs.
  2. Shipping
    • Prioritize orders, select products from correct locations.
    • Verify order accuracy and escalate issues to supervisor.
    • Pack products securely following SOPs.
    • Attach correct documentation and labels to each order.
    • Palletize, wrap, and load pallets onto trailers.
  3. Inventory
    • Handle products per client procedures, SOPs, and regulations.
    • Create shipping labels and related paperwork; maintain accurate records in warehouse management system.
    • Use scanners for barcode management.
  4. Inside Sales
    • Assess customer needs to recommend suitable products.
    • Process orders, quotes, and returns accurately.
    • Provide product availability information.
    • Obtain shipment details from vendors.
    • Recommend additional products to enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain customer files and proficiency with relevant software.
  5. Other
    • Ensure equipment functionality and safety.
    • Operate power equipment safely.
    • Promote safety practices and adhere to Health & Safety Program.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
