Our client is a leading international manufacturer of industrial fluid sealing systems, high-performance protective coatings, and specialized industrial maintenance products. They are seeking a new Shipper/Receiver/Repair Centre Technician for their Montreal center.

As a Shipper/Receiver/Repair Centre Technician, you will work under the supervision of our Eastern Canada Service Center Director.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diverse shipping/receiving activities and maintain inventory count utilizing D365.
  • Set up and operate simple machines, e.g., sandblasters and polishing tools.
  • Use various hand and power tools, e.g., drill press.
  • Perform simple in-process quality control functions based on established engineering standards.
  • Operate a CNC for cutting gaskets. (Training provided)
  • Perform simple production tasks, cut packing braids, and assemble kits.
  • Carry out work tasks with instructions, if necessary.
  • Perform other manufacturing floor functions, e.g., assemble skids and wooden crates.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years experience in a Warehouse or Shipping/Receiving environment preferred.
  • Ability to work under general supervision with the ability to work independently as needed.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and/or verbal instructions/procedures to ensure safety and efficient inventory management.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to operate and maintain a forklift as needed.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in French and English.
