The impact you will have

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for activities related to the movement of goods both in and out of our Mississauga Distribution Centre. As the Shipper/Receiver, you will:

  • Shipping and Receiving, picking orders and stocking inventory
  • Inventory control, cycle counting parts
  • Proper processing, packaging, and labelling of inventory and customer orders
  • Preparing bill of ladings through our Transportation Management System
  • Establishing and maintaining reliable records in accordance with company procedures
  • Where appropriate; open packages, remove products, and visually inspect for damage
  • Be a steward of Health and Safety practices in the workplace
  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge and understanding of quality management

Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly advanced organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proven self-starter, motivated, and strong coaching/training methodologies.
  • Demonstrates excellent consistent communication to all team members and management
  • Excellent knowledge of computerized environments applying variety of program skills.
  • Efficient time management skills and the ability to meet prescribed deadlines.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
