We are seeking a full-time, permanent Shipper / Receiver to join our specialized pharmacy in Kingston, ON. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and quality of each order shipped to our patients, coordinating with couriers to meet service expectations, and verifying received shipments in the pharmacy.

How you will make an impact
  1. Packing pharmaceutical products according to seasonal protocols.
  2. Using vendor shipping software to create waybills for specific locations.
  3. Ensuring shipments are sent to correct locations and adhere to delivery schedules.
  4. Collaborating with external stakeholders, including route drivers and account managers.
  5. Ordering and maintaining necessary shipping supplies.
  6. Unpacking and packing shipments, including lifting heavy boxes.
  7. Serving as the first point of contact in the pharmacy for patients, drug reps, shipping personnel, etc.
What you'll bring to our team
  1. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role; pharmaceutical experience is an asset.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent; education in logistics is an asset.
  3. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  4. Comfort with computers and learning vendor software.
  5. Effective time management and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to work well with internal and external partners, representing our organization’s values.
  7. Physical capability to lift and move boxes repeatedly.
  8. High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Ability to meet strict shipping deadlines.
