Job summary

A leading aerospace company is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist to manage supplier shipments and outbound logistics. The candidate will handle SAP entries, inspect products, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Candidates should possess relevant experience and certifications to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of receiver/shipping experience in aerospace or related manufacturing environment.
• Military packaging knowledge is an asset.
• Understanding of US/Canada customs regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive supplier shipments on dock and enter receipts into SAP.
• Load and unload trucks and process outbound shipments.
• Inspect products for conformity to paperwork.

Descriptif mission

Receive supplier shipments on dock; enter receipts into SAP, including serial numbers as required; forward parts and paperwork accordingly; load and unload trucks; package and process outbound shipments to customers in a time-sensitive environment; inspect all products to ensure parts conform to paperwork and travelers; perform all other related duties.

Skills and Core Competencies : Lifting and slinging experience; ability to lift 50 lbs regularly; proficiency with hand and machine tools; excellent computer and problem-solving skills; self-motivated; capable of multi-tasking and working with minimal supervision.

Education and Certifications : Valid forklift license; military packaging knowledge; Dangerous Goods Packaging Certificate (asset).

Work Experience : 3-5 years of receiver/shipping experience in aerospace or related manufacturing environment.

Specialized Knowledge : Understanding of US/Canada customs regulations; knowledge of SAP receiving/shipping system (asset).

Communication Skills : Ability to work effectively across departments, aligned with company values.
