Our manufacturing client in Burlington is hiring a Shipper Receiver Floater!

Position: Shipper Receiver Floater

Wage: $31.75/hr

Direct Permanent Role

Location: Burlington

Industry: Manufacturing

- Paid breaks- Note: you are not allowed to leave the building for breaks

Responsibilities
- Collecting of scrap materials around site, grinding, wrap label and properly store away grinded materials, troubleshoot grinding machine as needed
- Safely operate Counterbalance Forklift throughout facility, complete daily routine maintenance checks on machine, use machine to move finished goods from production to the warehouse, loading and unloading of trailers
- Prepare necessary paperwork and maintain proper documentation as required- Customs paperwork, BOLs, Shipment schedules, Customer and company record logs. hand off sheets etc
- Inventory management- Verify all incoming and outgoing shipments, labels, quantities and documentation
- Verify COA’s (Certificate of Compliance) for all inbound raw materials
- Arrange all outbound sample requests via courier, Coordinate returnable dunnage with applicable customers
- Release of packaging purchase orders
- Perform testing on incoming raw materials
- Wrapping and storage of finished product
- Knowledge of 3PL Import/export processes
- Ensure all quality, food safety, safety, environmental as well as other Company policies and procedures are followed
- Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving
• Previous experience experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Counterbalance Forklift license required- must be able to operate safely
• Inventory management, RF Scanner experience
• Strong communication, attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Intermediate mathematical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
