Type: Fulltime Permanent

Location: Abbotsford, BC

Compensation: $24.40/hour

Position Overview:

As a Shipper/Receiver/Driver, you'll be the backbone of our operation, ensuring the timely and accurate movement of parts and materials. You'll manage inventory, handle incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintain an organized, efficient warehouse environment. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in contributing to the overall success of the team. You'll work closely with different departments to ensure all orders are processed and delivered on time, playing a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Job Duties:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
  • Unpack, sort, and organize parts and materials in the warehouse or parts department
  • Accurately pick and pack orders for customer deliveries and inter-branch transfers
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Deliver parts and supplies to customers and other branch locations using a company vehicle
  • Ensure timely and professional delivery service while maintaining excellent customer relationships
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records in the inventory system
  • Track shipments and follow up on delivery discrepancies or delays
  • Assist with regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy
  • Keep warehouse and shipping areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with the parts team to coordinate orders and deliveries
  • Perform other duties as required to support the parts and service teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred)
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment
