Job summary

Sun Peaks Resort is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join the Food & Beverage team. You will handle deliveries, inventory, and distribution across outlets, with attention to FIFO and expiry dates. The role requires physical presence at Sun Peaks and the ability to work under pressure.

The position offers on-site duties with a focus on accuracy in receiving, storage organization, and delivery to outlets using the resort van. A valid BC license, Food Safe, and WHMIS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and driver’s abstract (if BC resident >3 months)
• Food Safe certificate.
• WHMIS trained.
• CSA approved work boots.
• High School Degree.
• Good written and verbal skills.
• Accurate cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Receiving Food and Beverage supplier deliveries according to the receiving policy (FIFO, expiry dates, food danger zone).
• Checking off and accounting for every item delivered or picked up.
• Keeping an accurate account of all products transferred to outlets and updating spreadsheets.
• Delivery of Food and Beverage products to outlets using the Company Catering van.
• Ensuring fridges, freezers, and storage rooms are organized.

Do you love skiing or snowboarding and mountain culture? Are you organized and have excellent attention to detail? We are looking to hire a Shipper/Receiver to join our Food & Beverage team. As the Shipper/Receiver, you should be physically fit and able to multitask. Our Food & Beverage department is high volume; therefore, you will need to perform well under pressure.

Compensation Information:

$21.45 per hour

Physical Requirement:

Heavy (H); work activities involve handling loads up to 35kg, both in an indoor and outdoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

• Delivery of Food and Beverage products to various outlets using the Company Catering van.
• Ensuring fridges, freezers, and storage rooms are organized.
