Job summary

Sun Peaks Resort is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our Food & Beverage team for the Winter 2026/27 season. The role requires physical work, the ability to multitask, and attention to detail in a high-volume environment.

Compensation is $21.45 per hour with standard safety requirements including Food Safe, WHMIS, and CSA-approved boots. Duties include receiving deliveries, inventory checks, and transporting items to outlets.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required or BC license if in province longer than 3 months.
• Food Safe certificate is required to work with food handling.
• WHMIS training is expected for safety compliance.
• CSA approved work boots must be worn on site.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience handling cash accurately is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive Food & Beverage supplier deliveries in accordance with FIFO and expiry checks.
• Check off and account for each item delivered or picked up.
• Maintain accurate records of products transferred to outlets and update tracking spreadsheets.
• Deliver Food & Beverage items to various outlets using the company catering van.
• Keep fridges, freezers, and storage areas organized.

Shipper / Receiver - Culinary - Winter 2026/27

Do you love skiing or snowboarding and mountain culture? Are you organized and have excellent attention to detail? We are looking to hire a Shipper/Receiver to join our Food & Beverage team. As the Shipper/Receiver, you should be physically fit and able to multitask. Our Food & Beverage department is high volume; therefore, you will need to perform well under pressure. Compensation Information: $21.45 per hour

Physical Requirement: Heavy (H); work activities involve handling loads up to 35kg, both in an indoor and outdoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receiving Food and Beverage supplier deliveries according to our rigorous receiving policy (FIFO, checking expiry dates, food danger zone, etc.).
• Properly checking off and accounting for every item delivered or picked up.
• Keep an accurate account of all products transferred to the various outlets and complete the necessary spreadsheet for tracking purposes.
• Delivery of Food and Beverage products to various outlets using the Company Catering van.
• Ensuring fridges, freezers, and storage rooms are organized.
