What You’ll Do

Join our team and experience a rewarding and challenging work environment with skilled and supportive teammates. We are currently accepting resumes from organized and team-oriented individuals seeking a Shipper Receiver position at our Calmont Equipment location at Bobcat of Calgary, AB.

Your primary responsibilities as a Shipper Receiver include overseeing the loading and unloading of goods, preparing bills and invoices, and checking incoming shipments against packing slips. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

• Checking incoming shipments against packing slips.
• Inspecting and verifying incoming goods against invoices or other documents, recording shortages, and rejecting damaged goods.
• Assembling containers and crates, packing goods for shipment, and preparing identifying information and shipping instructions.
• Maintaining the bin storage system, unpacking, and routing goods to appropriate storage areas.
• Applying return standards to customer returns to classify them according to vendor programs.
• Maintaining files for trucks, UPS, Purolator, air shipments, and others.
• Keeping the shipping, warehouse, and stock rooms clean and organized, optimizing space and shelving.
• Operating forklift equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
• Providing courteous and respectful service to internal and external customers in accordance with company policy.
• Performing other duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• A self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload.
