Job summary

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership in Nisku, Alberta is seeking a dedicated Shipper/Receiver to join our manufacturing logistics team. You will load/unload materials, store goods, and coordinate shipments with multiple carriers, while maintaining accurate Sage records.

The role requires 2+ years in shipping/receiving, forklift experience, and strong communication and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years shipping and receiving experience.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Experience with Sage ERP is preferred.
• Able to communicate clearly and work in a team.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices.
• Put away received materials to proper storage locations.
• Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records in Sage for reporting and tracking.
• Maintain filing of shipping documents.
• Prepare and schedule shipments and daily transportation needs with different carriers/couriers.
• Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Perform forklift circle checks and routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment.
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Sort and distribute incoming shipments to applicable departments.
• Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off and report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
• Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete.
• Problem-solve for any causes of missing documents, shipments, and deliveries.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
