Job summary

Surepoint in Nisku, AB is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our local team. This role handles shipping/receiving, paperwork, and keeps the warehouse organized while supporting the parts department.

You will operate a forklift, work weekdays, and participate in after-hours calls as needed. Strong English, valid driver's license, and attention to safety are essential. Surepoint promotes ownership and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record.
• Forklift training or experience is an asset.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to process paperwork accurately.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive parts with proper paperwork.
• Complete pick-up and delivery of parts, materials, and tools.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory.
• Coordinate with parts department to keep shelves stocked.
• Keep the shop clean and organized.
• Assist with general labour duties such as sweeping.
• Move parts in the warehouse using a forklift.
• Identify and solve warehouse issues.
• Support manager with additional duties.
• Participate in after-hours on-call schedule as required.
• Wear PPE and follow Health & Safety policies.
• Participate in Surepoint's Health & Safety Program.

What You'll Be Doing

• Ship and receive parts, ensuring that all parts are received and the proper paperwork is completed.
• Complete pick-up and delivery of parts, materials, and tools as required.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with the parts department to ensure parts required are on shelves.
• Ensure the shop is clean and well organized.
• General labour duties include sweeping and cleaning shop floors as required.
• Move parts in the warehouse using a forklift.
• Identify and problem-solve warehouse issues.
• Assist with other duties as requested by the manager.
• Participate in after-hours on-call schedule as required.
• Wear proper PPE at all times and observe Health & Safety policies.
• Participate in Surepoint's Health & Safety Program.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Must have valid Class 5 driver's license and clean drivers abstract.
• Forklift training and demonstrated experience is an asset.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Able to understand and process paperwork as required.
• Strong computer skills; Proficient with MSOffice applications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
