Job summary

Kal Tire in Fort St. John, BC is seeking a Shipper Receiver to oversee the flow of tires and wheels in a fast-paced, hands-on role. This temporary position offers full-time or part-time hours for the contract duration.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, teamwork, and timely processing of shipments, with on-site duties including receiving, shipping, inventory checks, and store coordination.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Full‑time availability for duration of the contract.
• Ability to lift and move tires (30–50 lbs or more) throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Reliable, team‑oriented, and able to take direction.
• Commitment to working safely at all times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ship outgoing product accurately and on time.

• Support inventory control, including cycle counts and record accuracy.
• Work closely with the store team to keep operations running smoothly.

• Hours of Operation:
  • Monday to Friday: 7:30am-6:00pm.
  • Saturday: 8:00am-5:00pm.
• Multiple Training Dates Starting: September 8, 2026.
