Job summary

Conuvo Construction Materials in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to manage loading and unloading of concrete products in the warehouse and yard using a forklift, and to track shipments and inventory levels.

The role requires 2+ years of warehouse experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and forklift certification is a plus. Regular hours are Monday to Friday with potential overtime. We offer room for growth and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or using a Forklift.
• Receive new materials and verify shipment condition and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of shipments into the inventory processing software.
• Count inventory levels and advise management of discrepancies.
• Uphold a strong understanding of a broad range of concrete related materials and products.
• General yard and warehouse maintenance.
• Active participation in safety including wearing PPE, attending safety meetings, identifying/reporting hazards, completing incident reporting.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• General labour duties, as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our Conuvo Construction Materials team in Edmonton, AB. The Shipper/Receiver position is primarily responsible for the safe loading and unloading of concrete related products within the warehouse and yard using a forklift. This position will also track the incoming/outgoing shipments and maintain accurate inventory levels in the warehouse.

Hours of Work

Regular work week will be Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm. Overtime may be required occasionally outside of this schedule.

Work Environment

• Warehouse environment where PPE is required, including CSA steel toed boots.
• Frequent bending and lifting required.
