The Shipping and Receiving position is an important one for our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff.Key Responsibilities : Responsible for the shipping & receiving operations of the branch;Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and submitted;Responsible for yard, shop, & warehouse organization and cleanliness;Assist customers picking up and returning product;Assist with fleet drivers and outside carriers;General assessment of tools returned from rental;Maintain a safe working environment;Perform other duties as assigned.Key Qualifications : The ability to provide various shipping and receiving duties in a busy, potentially stressful environment;Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products, with hands-on experience in minor repairs and service / maintenance requirements for various types of construction equipment;Excellent paperwork and organizational skills, with an affinity for process management;Ability to work independently when required;Willingness to adapt to possible overtime hours;Good communication and people skills;Additional Qualifications : Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently;Wage : $18.50 per hourBenefits : Company pensionDental careDisability insuranceExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingStock optionsVision careBattlefield Equipment Rentals is committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
