Job Overview

Under the supervision of the Material Flow Manager, the Shipper performs receiving functions such as raw material intake, and shipping functions including staging and loading sales orders.

Available Shifts

• Day/Continent Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Night/Continent Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Location

Railside Facility - 415 Railside Dr., Brampton, ON

Key Responsibilities

• Perform shipping tasks such as picking, staging, and loading sales orders, maintaining logs, verifying order accuracy, and recommending improvements to procedures.
• Ensure HACCP procedures are followed; operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, oversee warehouse maintenance, and promote safety and environmental standards.
• Handle receiving functions, store and supply raw materials to production, maintaining accurate logs.

Recipe for Success

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years manufacturing experience
• Forklift certification is an asset
• Effective stress management and attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Knowledge of health & safety standards and HACCP/GMP requirements
• Ability to learn in-house systems quickly and work with urgency
