As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will deploy partners and delegate tasks to create the Starbucks Experience for our customers by providing legendary customer service with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. You will model and act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles and be part of a company that is consistently rated as a great place to work.

Summary Of Key Responsibilities
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and set a positive example for the team.
  • Evaluate the environment and customers to anticipate needs.
  • Communicate information to the manager to respond appropriately and create a welcoming environment during each shift.
  • Assist with new partner training, providing positive reinforcement and respectful coaching.
  • Provide feedback to the store manager on partner performance during shifts.
  • Recognize changes in partner morale and communicate them to the manager.
  • Provide clear, timely, and respectful coaching to partners to ensure operational excellence and improve performance.
  • Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a customer-first attitude and connecting with customers.
  • Respond to customer needs and develop positive relationships with the team.
  • Execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing duties.
  • Follow Starbucks policies for cash handling, safety, and security.
  • Ensure proper cash management practices are followed.
  • Follow up with baristas to ensure delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality.
  • Provide quality beverages, food, and products adhering to standards.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Recognize individual and team accomplishments and collaborate with the manager on recognition methods.
  • Use operational tools to achieve excellence during the shift.
