As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team by delegating tasks and creating the Starbucks Experience for our customers through legendary customer service, quality beverages, and a clean, welcoming environment. You will model Starbucks' guiding principles and be part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act with integrity, honesty, and promote Starbucks' culture, values, and mission.
  2. Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events, setting a positive example for the team.
  3. Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  4. Communicate effectively with the store manager to ensure a positive environment.
  5. Assist with training new partners and provide constructive feedback.
  6. Contribute to a positive team environment and recognize team achievements.
  7. Deliver excellent customer service, responding to customer needs and building relationships.
  8. Organize opening and closing duties as assigned.
  9. Follow operational policies, including cash handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  10. Ensure proper cash management practices are followed.
  11. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  12. Ensure the delivery of quality beverages and products adhering to standards.
  13. Recognize and reinforce team accomplishments.
  14. Use operational tools to achieve excellence during shifts.
Experience and Skills
  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant environments.
  • Ability to lead and learn quickly.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
