As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead a team to deliver the Starbucks Experience by providing excellent customer service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. You will model Starbucks' guiding principles and be part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote Starbucks' culture, values, and mission.
  2. Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events to ensure smooth store operations and set a positive example.
  3. Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  4. Communicate effectively with the team and store management to create a welcoming environment.
  5. Assist in training new partners and providing constructive feedback.
  6. Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and monitor partner morale and performance.
  7. Provide coaching and feedback to partners to ensure operational excellence.
  8. Deliver exceptional customer service, respond to customer needs, and build positive relationships.
  9. Manage store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing duties.
  10. Follow Starbucks policies on cash handling, safety, and security.
  11. Ensure proper cash management and oversee shift team performance.
  12. Maintain attendance and punctuality.
  13. Ensure quality standards for beverages, food, and presentation are met.
  14. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  15. Recognize and celebrate team accomplishments and use organizational tools for recognition.
  16. Use operational tools to achieve excellence during shifts.
Experience and Skills
  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant settings.
  • Ability to lead and direct others.
  • Quick learner with effective communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation.
