As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team by delegating tasks and creating the Starbucks Experience through legendary customer service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. You will model Starbucks' principles and be part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote Starbucks' culture, values, and mission with integrity and honesty.
  • Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events, setting a positive example.
  • Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and store manager to ensure a positive store atmosphere.
  • Support new partner training and provide constructive feedback.
  • Recognize team morale and performance issues and communicate them appropriately.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to partners for operational excellence and performance improvement.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer needs and building relationships.
  • Oversee store operations, including opening and closing duties, cash handling, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure consistent quality of beverages, food, and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Use organizational tools to achieve operational excellence during shifts.

Experience and Skills

  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant settings.
