Shift Supervisor - Store# 56560, 894 TOWER STREET SOUTH

As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team by delegating tasks and creating the Starbucks Experience for customers through legendary customer service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. You will model and act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles and be part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote Starbucks' culture, values, and mission.
  • Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events to ensure store standards and set a positive example for the team.
  • Evaluate the environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  • Communicate relevant information to the manager for team response and to foster the Third Place environment.
  • Assist in training new partners, providing positive reinforcement and respectful coaching.
  • Provide feedback on partner performance to the store manager.
  • Recognize and communicate partner morale and performance issues to foster a positive team environment.
  • Provide clear, respectful coaching to partners on shift to ensure operational excellence.
  • Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a 'customer comes first' attitude and engaging with customers.
  • Respond to customer needs and develop positive relationships with the team.
  • Organize opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Follow Starbucks operational policies, including cash handling, safety, and security procedures.
  • Ensure proper cash management practices are followed.
  • Follow up with team members to ensure delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ensure quality beverage, food, and product presentation standards are met.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Recognize team accomplishments and collaborate with the manager to implement recognition methods.
  • Use operational tools effectively to achieve shift goals.
Experience and Skills
  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant settings.
  • Ability to direct others, learn quickly, and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of retail environment and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
