Join to apply for the shift supervisor - Store# 55870, NORTH MAYOR MAGRATH DRIVE role at Starbucks.

As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team by delegating tasks and creating the Starbucks Experience for our customers through legendary customer service, prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, comfortable store environment. You will model and act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles, contributing to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks with integrity and honesty.
  • Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events to ensure store standards are met and set a positive example for the team.
  • Evaluate the environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  • Communicate effectively with the manager to respond to store needs and create a welcoming environment.
  • Assist with training new partners, providing positive reinforcement and respectful coaching.
  • Provide feedback on partner performance to the store manager.
  • Foster a positive team environment by recognizing changes in morale and performance.
  • Provide clear, timely coaching to partners to ensure operational excellence.
  • Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a customer-first attitude and connecting with customers.
  • Respond to customer needs and develop positive relationships with the team.
  • Organize opening and closing duties and follow operational policies including cash handling and safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper cash management and follow all cash register policies.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality.
  • Consistently provide quality beverages, food, and products according to standards.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Recognize and reinforce team accomplishments and utilize organizational tools for recognition.
  • Use operational tools to achieve excellence during shifts.
Experience and Skills
  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant environments.
  • Ability to lead and direct others.
  • Quick learner with effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of retail environment and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
