As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will support the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team to deliver the Starbucks Experience by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining quality beverages and products, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment. You will model Starbucks' guiding principles and be part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote Starbucks' culture, values, and mission.
  • Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events to ensure smooth store operations and set a positive example.
  • Evaluate the environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  • Communicate effectively with the manager to respond to store needs and create a welcoming 'Third Place' environment.
  • Assist with training new partners, providing positive reinforcement and respectful coaching.
  • Provide feedback on partner performance during shifts.
  • Recognize changes in partner morale and communicate them to the store manager.
  • Create a positive learning environment through clear and respectful coaching.
  • Deliver legendary customer service, respond to customer needs, and build positive relationships.
  • Organize opening and closing duties, follow operational policies, and ensure safety and cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality, and ensure quality beverage and food service standards are met.
  • Recognize and reinforce team accomplishments and utilize operational tools to achieve excellence.
Experience and Skills
  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant settings.
  • Ability to lead and direct others, learn quickly, and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of retail environment and strong interpersonal skills.
