As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team, delegate tasks, and ensure the delivery of the Starbucks Experience through excellent customer service, quality beverages, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will model Starbucks' guiding principles and be part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act with integrity and promote Starbucks' culture, values, and mission.
  • Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events, setting a positive example.
  • Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  • Communicate effectively with the manager to create a welcoming environment.
  • Assist with training new partners, providing positive reinforcement and coaching.
  • Provide feedback on partner performance during shifts.
  • Recognize and communicate partner morale and performance issues to the store manager.
  • Provide clear coaching to partners to ensure operational excellence.
  • Deliver legendary customer service with a customer-first attitude.
  • Develop positive relationships with team members, understanding their motivations and concerns.
  • Organize opening and closing duties and follow operational policies.
  • Ensure safety, security, and proper cash handling during shifts.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality.
  • Consistently deliver quality beverages and food, adhering to standards.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Recognize and reinforce team accomplishments.
  • Utilize operational tools to achieve shift excellence.
Experience and Skills
  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant settings.
  • Ability to lead and learn quickly.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
