Shift Supervisor - Store# 47435, 50TH STREET MARKET

As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team by delegating tasks and ensuring the delivery of the Starbucks Experience through excellent customer service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. You will model and uphold Starbucks guiding principles and be part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks with integrity and honesty.
  • Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events to ensure smooth store operations and set a positive example.
  • Evaluate customer and store needs proactively.
  • Communicate effectively with the store team and manager to create a welcoming environment.
  • Assist in training new partners, providing positive reinforcement and respectful coaching.
  • Provide feedback on partner performance to the store manager.
  • Foster a positive team environment by recognizing morale and performance issues and communicating them appropriately.
  • Provide clear coaching and feedback to partners to ensure operational excellence.
  • Deliver legendary customer service, focusing on customer needs and building positive relationships.
  • Oversee store operations during shifts, including opening and closing duties.
  • Adhere to Starbucks operational policies, including cash handling, safety, and security procedures.
  • Ensure proper cash management practices are followed.
  • Monitor and support the delivery of excellent customer service during shifts.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ensure the quality and presentation of beverages, food, and other products.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Recognize and celebrate team and individual accomplishments.
  • Utilize operational tools to achieve shift goals.

Experience and Skills
