Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts.
  • Lead the team by deploying partners and delegating tasks to create the Starbucks Experience through excellent customer service, quality beverages, and a clean environment.
  • Model and act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
  • Maintain a positive and calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and store management.
  • Support new partner training and provide feedback on partner performance.
  • Deliver legendary customer service, respond to customer needs, and develop positive relationships with team members.
  • Organize opening and closing duties, follow operational policies, and ensure safety and security.
  • Follow cash handling and management policies.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality.
  • Ensure quality beverage and food product delivery, adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Recognize and reinforce team accomplishments, utilize operational tools for excellence.

Summary of Experience

  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to direct others, learn quickly, and work as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in French (reading, writing, verbal).
