As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team by delegating tasks and creating the Starbucks Experience for our customers through excellent service, quality beverages, and maintaining a clean environment. You will model Starbucks' guiding principles and be part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Summary Of Key Responsibilities
  1. Act with integrity, honesty, and promote Starbucks' culture and values.
  2. Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events, setting a positive example.
  3. Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  4. Communicate with the manager to respond appropriately and create a welcoming environment.
  5. Assist in training new partners and provide respectful coaching.
  6. Provide feedback on partner performance to the store manager.
  7. Recognize and communicate partner morale and performance issues.
  8. Offer clear, respectful coaching to improve partner performance.
  9. Deliver legendary customer service with a customer-first attitude.
  10. Respond to customer needs and develop positive relationships.
  11. Execute store operations, including opening and closing duties.
  12. Follow operational policies, including cash handling and safety procedures.
  13. Ensure proper cash management and follow cash register policies.
  14. Coordinate with baristas to ensure excellent service.
  15. Maintain attendance and punctuality.
  16. Consistently provide quality products adhering to standards.
  17. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  18. Recognize and reinforce team accomplishments.
  19. Use operational tools to achieve shift excellence.
Summary Of Experience
  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant environment.
