As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team by delegating tasks to create the Starbucks Experience for our customers through legendary customer service, prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, comfortable store environment. You will model and act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles, contributing to a positive work environment and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks with integrity and honesty.
  • Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events, setting a positive example.
  • Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and store management.
  • Assist with training new partners, providing positive reinforcement and respectful coaching.
  • Provide feedback on partner performance.
  • Foster a positive team environment and address morale or performance issues.
  • Provide clear coaching to partners for operational excellence and performance improvement.
  • Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a customer-first attitude and engaging with customers.
  • Respond to customer needs and develop positive relationships.
  • Organize opening and closing duties and follow operational policies for safety, security, and cash handling.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality beverages, food, and adherence to health and sanitation standards.
  • Recognize and reinforce team accomplishments and utilize tools to achieve operational excellence.
Experience
  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant environments.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to lead and direct others.
  • Quick learner with effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of retail environment and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork orientation.
