Position Overview

As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead a team, delegate tasks, and ensure the delivery of the Starbucks Experience through excellent customer service, quality beverages, and a clean environment. You will model Starbucks' guiding principles and contribute to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote Starbucks' culture and values.
  2. Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events to ensure store standards and set a positive example.
  3. Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  4. Communicate effectively with the team and store management.
  5. Assist in training new partners and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  6. Deliver legendary customer service and respond to customer needs.
  7. Organize opening and closing duties as assigned.
  8. Follow operational policies, including cash handling and safety procedures.
  9. Ensure proper cash management practices.
  10. Maintain attendance and punctuality.
  11. Ensure product quality and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
  12. Recognize and reinforce team and individual accomplishments.
  13. Utilize operational tools to achieve excellence during shifts.
Experience & Skills
  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant settings.
  • Ability to lead and direct others.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work as part of a team.
