As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team, delegate tasks, and ensure the delivery of the Starbucks Experience through excellent customer service, quality beverages, and a clean environment. You will model Starbucks' guiding principles and be part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks with integrity and honesty.
  • Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events to ensure store standards and set a positive example.
  • Evaluate customer and store needs proactively.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and store manager to create a welcoming environment.
  • Assist in training new partners with positive reinforcement and respectful coaching.
  • Provide feedback on partner performance to the store manager.
  • Foster a positive team environment and address morale or performance issues.
  • Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a customer-first attitude.
  • Respond to customer needs and develop positive relationships with the team.
  • Manage store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing duties.
  • Follow Starbucks policies on cash handling, safety, and security.
  • Ensure proper cash management and adherence to cash register policies.
  • Coordinate with baristas to ensure excellent service.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Provide quality beverages and food products, adhering to standards.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Recognize and reinforce team accomplishments and seek new recognition methods.
  • Use operational tools to achieve shift excellence.
Experience and Skills
