As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team by delegating tasks and creating the Starbucks Experience for customers through legendary customer service, quality beverages, and a clean store environment. You will model Starbucks' guiding principles and be part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Starbucks' culture, values, and mission with integrity and honesty.
  • Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events to keep operations smooth and set a positive example.
  • Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  • Communicate effectively with the store team and manager to ensure a positive store environment.
  • Assist in training new partners and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing partner performance and morale issues.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to partners to ensure operational excellence.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and responding to their needs.
  • Develop positive relationships with team members, understanding their motivations and concerns.
  • Execute store operations, including opening and closing duties.
  • Follow Starbucks policies for cash handling, safety, and security.
  • Ensure proper cash management practices are followed.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality.
  • Ensure the quality and presentation of beverages and food products.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Recognize team accomplishments and collaborate on new recognition methods.
  • Use operational tools to achieve excellence during shifts.
