As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team to deliver the Starbucks Experience by providing excellent customer service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. This role involves modeling Starbucks' guiding principles and being part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Starbucks' culture, values, and mission with integrity and honesty.
  • Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events to ensure smooth store operations and set a positive example.
  • Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and store manager to foster a positive store environment.
  • Support new partner training and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing morale and performance issues and communicating them appropriately.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and responding to their needs.
  • Organize opening and closing duties and follow operational policies, including cash handling and safety procedures.
  • Ensure consistent quality of beverages and food products, adhering to standards.
  • Recognize and celebrate team achievements, fostering a motivating work environment.
  • Utilize operational tools to achieve excellence during shifts.
Experience and Skills
  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant settings.
  • Ability to lead and direct others, learn quickly, and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of retail operations and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
