As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. As a team lead, you will deploy partners and delegate tasks to create the Starbucks Experience for our customers by providing legendary customer service with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. You will be responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. Summary Of Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and set a positive example for the team.
- Evaluate the environment and customers to anticipate needs and respond accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with the manager to respond to store needs and create the Third Place environment during each shift.
- Assist with training new partners, providing positive reinforcement and respectful coaching.
- Provide feedback to the store manager on partner performance during shifts.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them appropriately.
- Create a positive learning environment through clear, timely, and respectful coaching and feedback.
- Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a customer-first attitude and engaging with customers.
- Discover and respond to customer needs effectively.
- Develop positive relationships with team members by understanding their motivations and concerns.
- Execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing duties.
- Follow Starbucks policies and procedures related to cash handling, safety, and security.
- Ensure proper cash management practices are followed by the team.
- Coordinate with baristas to ensure excellent customer service throughout the shift.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Consistently provide quality beverages, food, and products following recipes and presentation standards.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments, collaborating with the store manager on recognition methods.
- Utilize operational tools to achieve shift excellence.
