An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Aquatics Supervisor to oversee operations at a community Aquaplex. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining water quality, and ensuring safety compliance while providing excellent public relations. This position is responsible for supervising staff, assisting with maintenance and operations of the Aquaplex, including maintaining Water Quality, Lifeguarding, Janitorial duties, Public Relations, daily cash balancing and deposits, ensuring all rules and regulations regarding safety are complied with, and assisting with program development.
The ideal candidate combines a strong background in Aquatics programming and administration with a fun approach that focuses on the safety and enjoyment of all of our clients.
Asset: Lifesaving Instructor, Aquatic Fitness Instructor certification (AFLCA, WaterArt, etc.), Pool operator Level 1 or equivalent.
Employment Category: Permanent Full-Time - CUPE Local 4604 (One position)
Hours per Week: 37.5-44/hrs/week. Shifts follow a compressed work schedule which includes evenings and weekends, as per the current CUPE 4604 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Benefits: This position is eligible for benefits and pension as per the Town's HR Policy and CUPE 4604 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
