Job summary

ONroute is hiring a Shift Supervisor to support management in monitoring day-to-day activities, ensuring productivity and exceptional customer service across our plazas along major highways. The role emphasizes maintaining a safe, positive work environment and adherence to brand standards.

The position requires supervising staff, coordinating breaks, handling cash per policy, resolving customer concerns, and delivering brand-training across locations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, plan and observe day-to-day activities of employees, coordinate breaks, keep management informed of area activities and significant issues
• Create and provide a safe and positive work environment free of harassment and violence
• Model company brand standards and adhere to all policies and SOPs in a professional manner
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies
• Follow all company cash handling policies and always maintain proper security of cash, and void transactions as needed
• Resolve customer complaints in a manner consistent with policy and with customer satisfaction in mind
• Practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices and comply with all H&S standards
• Place and receive product along with performing monthly inventory
• Deliver training in different brands for new employees
• Respond to guest injuries and property damage, complete reports and record timely to HUB/IFM

The job:

SHIFT SUPERVISOR’s primary purpose is to support management in monitoring the day-to-day activities of employees in aiding in monitoring productivity, responsibility for work and ensure that business runs smoothly, and we deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive and safe work environment for employees.

Reliable transportation is required as our plazas are located on the 401/ 400 highways, and public transportation is not available.
