Wild Wing at Canlan is currently seeking a Shift Supervisor.

Job Summary

Our hands-on Food & Beverage Shift Supervisors oversee the daily operations of the Wild Wing restaurant professionally. They provide leadership to staff, ensuring efficient food service, preparation, and presentation that consistently exceeds guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Complete all opening and closing procedures (shift dependent).
• Ensure no variances in cash or inventories during the shift.
• Maintain knowledge of and actively promote the menu, beverages, and current promotions.
• Receive product deliveries and ensure safe, sanitary, and secure storage when required.
• Maintain or exceed guest expectations in a cost-effective manner.
• Cover team roles/shifts when needed.
• Manage front of house operations (Restaurant and Bar).
• Handle payments and gratuities, make change, and process transactions accurately using the SQUIRREL system.
• Apply knowledge of tableware and bar equipment.
• Manage back of house operations (Kitchen).
• Use and care for kitchen tools and equipment competently.
• Apply basic food preparation knowledge in line with standardized recipes.

Qualifications and Education

• Smart Serve, Serving It Right, or equivalent required.
• Food Safe Certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Abilities, Attributes, and Experience

• At least three years of Food & Beverage experience.
• Prior team leadership experience preferred.
• Outgoing, positive, and team-oriented.
• Experience handling payments and gratuities via POS system (SQUIRREL preferred).
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
