Job description

Title: Shift Nurse - RN

Location: Georgina, ON

Shift timings: 11 pm to 7 am (Monday to Tuesday)

We are looking for a Shift Nurse (RN) who is comfortable providing care to our clients based in Georgina, ON. Our next Shift Nurse will thrive in a caring culture where flexibility, strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

If you are passionate about client-focused care and have extensive work experience in community or clinical settings, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What You Will Be Doing

  • Providing care to a pediatric client in the client’s home.
  • Managing G-tubes, BIPAP, and tracheostomy care.
  • Reporting and coordinating with HCCSS (LHIN).
  • Creating reports and updates on clients.
  • Ordering supplies for patients.
  • Building relationships and rapport with clients.
  • Working independently and as part of a team.
  • Finding solutions to problems and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ensuring safety for yourself and clients.
Skills Needed for Success

  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with excellent scheduling skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Minimum two years’ community or clinical experience preferred.
  • Current registration as an RN or RPN with the CNO.
  • Certification in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C).
  • Flexible with shifts and timings.
