As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the execution of daily operations activities. With each certification, you will be qualified and expected to provide additional leadership in one or more areas (Open / Close, Kitchen, and/or Customer Service). You may be responsible for overall restaurant effectiveness and may be assigned other managerial and supervisory responsibilities, including performing as the Ops Leader. General Responsibilities:
- Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures among crew members.
- Act as Cash Manager as needed, including setting up cash registers at open and verifying cash at close.
- Perform walk-throughs to ensure the restaurant is ready to open/close and/or rush-ready.
- Work with the Restaurant Management team to train, develop, and communicate with crew members and Team Trainers through team huddles, manager meetings, etc. Supervise crew members and Team Trainers to maximize retention.
- Supervise, coordinate, and delegate operations tasks, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures to "Delight Every Customer".
- Work with the Restaurant Management team to meet quality, production, and service standards, creating a safe, efficient, and professional environment for customers and employees.
- Help execute shift-specific procedures according to DOP. Assist in maintaining proper crew coverage through scheduling to meet or exceed customer service standards.

What we expect from you:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- One or more years of restaurant management experience
- Six months or more experience in restaurant, retail, customer service, or equivalent
- Ability to multitask while maintaining composure and providing sound advice and direction
- Ability to work in a team, take and give directions, and focus on customer service. Professionalism, discretion, and composure are required when handling customer concerns.
- Ability to perform duties accurately in a fast-paced environment involving noise, temperature variations, and prolonged standing. Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds, reach, push, pull, bend, kneel, and stoop.
- Must be punctual, available to work all shifts, and willing to transfer or travel as needed.
- Willing to obtain ServSafe certification by the end of training.
