Job description

Shift Manager

We're more than just your local restaurant. From coast to coast, we serve our delicious products to over 2.5 million customers daily across 1,400+ restaurants. We also proudly support more than 300,000 Canadian families with sick children through Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Starting hourly wage is $17.50

Working with us offers opportunities to learn on the job, enjoy flexible hours, and work in a safe, inclusive environment. What this means in practice:

  • Access to training and skills development to advance your career
  • Total compensation including discounts, incentive programs, and benefits
  • Flexible hours and schedules across communities in Canada
  • A safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment
  • An environment where you can express your authenticity—people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures are welcome, just like our customers

The Job

Here's what you can expect: inspiring the team, instilling pride, creating a culture that delivers the best quick-service restaurant experience. Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for all.

Manage and lead a team of team members. Participate in local community events that make a positive impact.

Enforce our renowned cleanliness standards.

Your Energy and Experience

Previous experience in restaurant or retail—such as a barista, waiter, sales associate, cashier, or team member—is helpful but not essential. What matters most is your energy and who you are.

You are trustworthy, confident, detail-oriented, and understand that quality keeps customers coming back. You can stay calm in a fast-paced environment and work well as part of a team. You're social, eager to learn, and understand that service is about connection, not just transactions. A genuine smile makes all the difference, and yours is authentic.
