Title: Shift Maintenance Technician - Electrician

What do we manufacture?

Required Shift:

12 Hour rotating shifts

Shift rotates between days (7am - 7:30pm) and nights (7pm - 7:30am) – 2x day shifts, then 2x night shifts, followed by 4x days off.

Pay: From $47.50 per hour.

Bonus (AVP) - target bonus of 5% of base pay, depending on company performance.

Merit Pay - Increase to base pay once per year based on your performance

Job Purpose:

We’re looking for a Shift Technician – Electrician, who will be responsible for on-shift preventive & predictive maintenance, alongside effective troubleshooting & repair of breakdowns across production & utilities.

What will be your day-to-day responsibilities?

  • Adhere to company safety & quality standards and processes
  • Completion of assigned preventative & predictive maintenance PMs as directed, capturing all relevant information into CMMS system (SAP PM).
  • Provide technical skills required to systematically repair, adjust and maintain processing, filling, conveying, and packaging machinery.
  • Effectively prioritize simultaneous breakdown/reactive maintenance calls, utilizing shift managers & machine operators for support.
  • Other duties include participating in continuous improvement teams, working on new project activities and continuous training.

What technical experience are we looking for?

  • Certified Journeyman – 309A or 442A – with 5+ years’ experience maintaining control systems on complex process and/or high-speed production equipment.
  • Experience with AC and DC control systems (troubleshoot, test and repair)
  • PLC/HMI set-up & troubleshooting experience – RSLogix, Wonderware, Cognex In-sight preferred
  • VFD set-up & troubleshooting experience – Allen-Bradley PowerFlex & Mitsubishi A-series preferred
  • Servo set-up & troubleshooting experience – Schneider PacDrive & Lexium preferred
  • Able to complete basic mechanical troubleshooting & repairs to equipment
  • Knowledge of food safety requirements e.g. HACCP, GMP.
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office & CMMS experience – SAP PM preferred)
