Job summary

Kitchen Stuff Plus is seeking a Part Time Shift Leader to oversee daily retail operations in the GTA. You will lead the sales floor, coach Associates, and ensure high standards of customer service while driving sales and maintaining store processes.

Availability must include extended days, evenings and weekends. You will work closely with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to meet store goals, handle safety and inventory tasks, and participate in ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Leadership ability to direct a team and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and quick decision making.
• Computer skills and ability to learn store systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct sales floor operations including customer service, merchandising, housekeeping, shipping/receiving and safety.
• Delegate tasks to Associates to drive productivity and meet service and sales goals.
• Mentor Associates to ensure training and capability for assigned tasks and service.
• Provide exceptional customer service while achieving sales and conversion targets.
• Maintain knowledge of product location, features and promotions; ensure accurate transactions and store procedures.
• Oversee shipping and receiving operations and support additional directives as needed.

Location: Retail Store, GTA

Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager

Supervises: Sales Associate

Stuff you'll do:

• Supervise and direct sales floor operations in the areas of customer service, merchandising, housekeeping standards, shipping and receiving and health and safety
• Manage and delegate tasks to Associates and provide support to drive productivity and achieve service and sales goals
• Mentor and guide Associates to ensure they are well trained and capable of performing assigned tasks and providing service

• Maintain knowledge of product selection, location, features and benefits, and in-store promotions and marketing initiatives
• Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory and store procedures

• Flexibility to transfer to other store locations as needed

• Ladder use to 10 feet
• Stand/walk for 8 hours

Hourly Pay: $19.20
